About Us

The Practitioner's Enneagram

We are not gurus. We are fellow travellers who have spent decades in this work — and who believe that the most important Enneagram question is not “what Type is this person?” but “what is happening between us right now?”

About Us

Andree Evans

Counselling Psychologist  |  Enneagram Teacher & Facilitator

Andrée Evans is a registered Counselling Psychologist with a private practice on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. With over three decades of experience working with the Enneagram, she brings rare clinical depth to a field that too often stops at the surface.

Her relationship with the Enneagram began as a personal one. Unlike other typologies, she found it dynamic and hopeful — offering not just insight but genuine direction for growth. That personal discovery became a life long journey of learning and evolved into a professional calling.

Today, Andrée works with individuals, couples, groups, and organisations, and supervises therapists and coaches wanting to deepen their clinical use of the Enneagram. Her approach is grounded in a non-shaming, trauma-informed lens — one that honours every coping strategy as survival intelligence, and holds deep compassion for the full complexity of the human psyche.

Her particular interest is the dual perspective: not just the client in the room, but the practitioner too — how each of the nine types of clinicians interacts with, reacts to, and may collude with each of the nine types of clients.

About Us

Mary Ferguson

Executive Coach | Leadership Facilitator | Enneagram Practitioner Coach Supervisor

Mary has worked extensively with leaders, teams, and individuals on the kind of development that genuinely shapes positive change: vertical growth, deeper self-awareness, and the quiet insight that stays with a person through their developmental journey. Her own engagement with the Enneagram has run just as long, and she has used it to chart her own development across many decades of inquiry and spiritual practice.

Mary’s Enneagram work is supervised by Belinda Gore PhD, extending her practice through the framework of object relations. Mary is a teaching faculty member with The Practitioner’s Enneagram and a professional member of the International Enneagram Association, along with numerous professional qualifications and accreditations. Her qualifications are in business, leadership, conflict resolution and Enneagram studies with various international teachers and Enneagram schools.

What makes her practice distinctive is the ground it stands on: three decades of meditation practice, a grounding in Buddhist philosophy, and the steadiness of someone who does the inner work herself. Mary uses the Enneagram not as a personality label but as a precise, humbling map of self understanding, holding the work's contemplative roots alongside the real demands of modern leadership. Clients describe her as warm, grounded, and unafraid of life's complexities including conflict and difficulty.

Originally from Vancouver Canada, mid-career, Mary took a break from professional life to be with her growing family and to explore sustainable living and deepen her understanding of meditation and developmental inquiry.Today she continues to nurture her practice with Iyengar yoga and a love of dance. She recently completed her second solo outback meditation retreat (vision quest) because she draws strength and inspiration from her connection with nature.

Together

The Practitioner’s Enneagram brings together Andrée’s clinical and psychological depth with Mary’s leadership coaching and relational wisdom. What we share is not just expertise — it is a philosophical commitment to the kind of Enneagram practice that takes both the framework and the human being seriously.

We are not building a school of certainty. We are building a community of practitioners who are willing to slow down, stay curious, and go deeper.

Different personalities,

The same relational philosophy
